The New Box on the Block

Have you seen these bright boxes around Northern Kentucky? The Abitibi Paper Retriever box is the latest recycling program in our area—and it’s a great one.

Abitibi Consolidated Inc. recycles all sorts of paper AND they give cash to non-profit groups that are willing to host one of their bins. That means that when the groups that allow Abitibi to place a drop box on their property recycle more than two tons of paper, the company writes them a check. It’s very cool, especially since other recycling drop box programs charge money instead of giving it.
