On Friday October 3, 2008 at approximately 4:49 a.m. Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a stabbing call at 249 Deertrace in Walton Kentucky.
Deputies arrived to find the resident Tammy Marksberry 37 year old female and her 16 year old son had received cuts to the face and back. These injuries are not believed to be life–threatening injuries. Both were transported to St. Luke West Hospital by Florence Fire/EMS.
After an extensive search on the ground with Boone County Sheriff’s Canine as well as an aerial search with the assistance of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Aviation Unit, the suspect was not located.
Sheriff’s Deputies are currently seeking warrants for the arrest of Jay J. Clark last known residence was School House Road in Cincinnati, OH.
We are asking that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jay J. Clark contact Crime Stoppers 513-352-3040 or the Boone County Sheriff’s Office at 859-334-2171.
Update: Jay Clark Jr., 42 of Batavia, Ohio turned himself in today (10/7/2008) at 12:48 p.m. Clark is charged with Burglary 1st degree and two counts of Assault 1st degree. He is lodged in the Boone County Detention Center in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
